This was owned by a over the road transportation company that needed it for doing short deliveries but chose to stick with long range over the road trucking and sell off their baby delivery truck. RARE OPPORTUNITY FOR SUCH A TRUCK!Although it has seen 275, 000 miles in its life, the engine on this truck was replaced under warranty by Chevrolet approximately 70,000 miles ago. The NEW ENGINE cost $11,000 NOT including labor (we can provide the paperwork for this engine replacement to the buyer); and the cab of the truck is 100% brand new (including the entire interior, seats entire loaded dash with stereo, blower controls all trim panels EVERYTHING BRAND NEW!) the truck was in a minor accident where the passenger door, hood and windshield got damaged (no frame damage dont worry). We found a deal on a new hood at a dealer in Indiana that turns 5500 cab/chassis trucks into motorhomes and was selling an entire cab for only $4500. A new door, hood, windshield, etc. would have cost almost that much, so we went ahead and replaced the entire cab (we have receipts for this purchase, as well as the labor to have it installed and can provide this to the buyer). You can tell from the pictures that the truck looks virtually new. Cosmetics:Both the interior and exterior are in basically new condition. The Jerr-Dan bed is in great shape and (as w/ most 4 year only Jerr-dans) still functions exactly as it should. We did purchase brand new chains and hooks, a new V-bradle, and new L-arms which will be included in the auction. The winch works properly and the winch cable was replaced several months ago as well. The bed also has removable aluminum side-rails. The truck (before it received a new cab) was washed almost every weekend by handMechanicals:The oil on this truck was changed religiously. As mentioned, the engine was replaced by Chevy approximately 70,000 miles ago. The turbo was replaced approximately 3 months ago, the ECM was replaced at the same time as the cab and is brand new. The tires are probably close to 85-90% all the way around. The bed was recently serviced and greased, etc. The front brakes are in good shape and the rear brakes and rotors are BRAND NEW zero miles! |
